At 1, we understand how important it is for families to feel confident about their child’s care at the end of the school day. Many parents have busy working lives, changing hours or younger children to look after, so reliable after-school care can make a real difference. Our provision offers a safe, calm and welcoming environment where children are well cared for, feel settled and enjoy the end of their day in a familiar place.

Children remain with trusted adults who know them well and understand the importance of clear routines, kindness and consistency. After a full day of learning, they can relax, spend time with friends and take part in enjoyable activities in a space where they feel secure and included.

We are proud to serve families from many backgrounds, including our Turkish and Somali communities. We want all families to feel welcome, respected and reassured that their children are being cared for in a supportive school environment.

Our after-school care offers a range of activities to suit different interests. Children can enjoy arts and crafts, games, sports, reading and quiet homework time with support from staff. Healthy snacks are provided and clear routines help children feel calm and comfortable throughout the session.

This provision is designed to support families as well as children. It gives parents peace of mind at the end of the school day and gives children a safe, positive space before going home.

Places must be booked in advance. For session times, availability and help with booking, please contact the school office. Staff will be happy to answer questions and support families.
